I woke up around 11 a.m. and finally got a haircut. I then went to the mall and Target to pick up a few things, came home, and went for a run around the neighborhood. Finally, I went to a nearby Party store and picked up a Halloween costume with Stephanie. I made it home and decided to watch the Monday night game and play the $1k Aussie Millions satellite for the $18k package on FTP. I also played some $25/50 on FTP. There aren't any games on FTP, so I was one tabling. I was doing well and up $8k but then lost an $18k pot with AQ vs JJ on QJ7Q4. I was just above average in the Aussie sat. with 17 left of the original 31 with one receiving a seat and 2-4th place receiving some cash. I continued to be very unproductive from a poker and life standpoint today. I woke up around 1 and went to lunch with Stephanie at Dreamland. I came home and watched some of the IND/DEN game and then fell asleep again. Finally, I joined my mom and sister Carly for dinner at Red Lobster. Tomorrow I'll try to get a haircut, do a few things around the apartment, and hit the gym. I guess I should probably play some poker online at some point. I just don't have the work ethic that a lot of the young online pros do. I can take comfort in knowing I've had a big enough year to sit around the house doing nothing for the next 20 years and get by though, so I'm not too worried about it. SS

Today was fun. We got to the game around 1:30 for the 2 p.m. start and met up with all of our friends. I took Florida International +29.5 and lost, breaking my streak of 6 consecutive even money sports pick wins. Things were looking really good for me on the line at the half. Bama was up just 10-3, and I figured they'd win 28-3 or something. Bama picked an interception for a TD, returned a punt for a TD, and picked another one off deep in FIU territory and eventually put FIU away 35-3 to improve to 6-3 on the season. After the game Stephanie and I picked up some Chinese food. We headed back to her house and she slept while I watched four episodes of Cops. We decided not to go out tonight. I just played a $530 Aussie Millions seat satellite on Stars and busted. There were 49 entrants, so two will receive seats. I got off to a hot start and was chipleader with 30 to go, but then I lost a huge pot with TT vs 88 and that about sealed it. In WPT Niagara, Allen Cunningham, Mark Newhouse and most importantly, Nam Le all busted outside of the final 9, so they'll receive no PoY points. Nam busted in 12th place, so I really had to sweat that as I refreshed "live updates log" on Cardplayer every 30 seconds. With 14 left Nam sucked out with 99 vs AA for all his chips, but then Jdags sucked out on him AI pre with AQs vs AK to eliminate Nam in 12th. Cardplayer PoY criteria states that players who make the final 3 tables at $10k+ buy-in tournaments will receive points. This tournament was $10.3k Canadian ($9,200 USD), so it just missed that cut. Tomorrow's agenda will involve a haircut and watching a bunch of NFL. SS
